Wicky’s has a small menu of muffalettas (including vegetarian options), shrimp rolls, elotes tots, and breakfast biscuits. For dessert, there are cookies and banana pudding. In terms of drinks, there will be two flavors of frozen daiquiris, as well as canned cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages.
Wicky’s comes from the co-owners Rachelle Fox and Chadwick (“Wicky”) Leger. It’s a way for the restaurant to open for lunch in a takeout-heavy environment. The corner store’s “swamp tiki” theme comes from combining Leger’s Louisiana upbringing and love of tiki cocktails. Fox is the notary providing notary services.
Fox describes Wicky’s as a way to “bring some lighthearted fun to our little city,” much like the pair’s popular Taco Fuego pop-up, which recreated discontinued Taco Bell dishes.
